4th October 2006 - Swinden and Threshfield Quarry proposals go on show

Tarmac is opening the doors to a Public Exhibition next Saturday (14 October) to showcase its proposed plans for Swinden and Threshfield Quarries.

Rob Moore, Tarmac northern estates & geology manager, said: "We are very excited about the benefits the proposed plans for Swinden and Threshfield Quarries bring to the local area."

"Everyone is welcome to attend the exhibition to find out more. Myself and my colleagues from Tarmac and associated specialist consultancies will be on hand to answer any questions you may have."

The Public Exhibition will be held at Cracoe Village Hall, from 10.30am to 4pm, where you will be able to see current and proposed changes to landscape views, see proposed plans for both quarries and talk to experts.
