Tarmac works closely with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and Hertfordshire County Council as part of the legally constituted Management Committee for Panshanger Park. We also work with other stakeholders to deliver a new management plan for a working parkland, open to the public via permissive paths and open space, maintained for wildlife and future generations through practical and active site management.
Please check back to this section for further information on our future plans as the new management plan develops.
Once sand and gravel extraction is complete, the land is restored to a range of different land uses. Across Panshanger Park, this includes public access, water bodies like Osprey Lake, traditional land use management like grazing and commercial cropping and nature conservation.
You can find a Non Technical Summary of our plans for Phases F and H here.
