Desirable New house building construction methods don’t necessarily mean breaking the mold. You can produce a house that looks traditionally built of brick and mortar – but apply innovation to the materials and its composition to deliver homes that people want to buy and live in whilst delivering improved speed of build, intelligent use of materials sourcing & supply and reduced labour requirement.

Sustainable Evolving building regulations supporting the drive to reduce energy consumption and create more resilient housing requires a more holistic view of housing design. Ground works need to provide protection against flash flooding and low thermal conductivity or thermal mass construction solutions are required to create thermally efficient housing. Working with universities and architects we are looking to build on our current capabilities to deliver a new generation of practical housing solutions. We are already investing in a landmark development of eight sustainable homes, taking the latest thinking in home building techniques from the ground works to the above ground structure these homes will be engineered to physically demonstrate exceptional thermal performance and leading edge sustainable drainage systems

Interserve offices in Leicestershire were designed to be in tune with natural elements. Our concrete solutions were used to help deliver thermal mass energy performance. The building is based on the principles of PassivHaus, an established standard which cuts energy costs by up to 90 per cent, compared with traditionally built property.
