Tarmac to deliver fun and safety education at Suffolk Show 2025

May 16, 2025

Tarmac will be attending this year’s Suffolk Show 2025, taking place on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 May at Trinity Park, Ipswich. The leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business is set to bring a fun-filled and educational experience to families across the county.

Visitors to Tarmac’s stand will have the unique opportunity to sit inside a real-life Tarmac tipper truck, with the cab open for children and families to explore. The experience is designed to give a rare and exciting insight into what it’s like to be behind the wheel of one of these impressive vehicles.

As part of Tarmac’s commitment to safety and community engagement, the stand will feature an interactive blind spot mat and a ‘kit show and tell’, aimed at educating children and families about how to stay safe around large vehicles. These hands-on demonstrations will raise awareness of the visibility challenges drivers face and offer practical safety advice in an engaging and accessible way.

To keep the fun going, Tarmac will also be offering face painting throughout the two-day event, along with a colouring competition for younger visitors. The winner of the competition will receive a fantastic annual family pass to Colchester Zoo. All participants will also receive a seed stick to take home – a small reminder of the importance of sustainability and growth.

Stephanie Buckland, Major Projects Manager – South East at Tarmac, said: “We’re really excited to be at the Suffolk Show this year. It’s a brilliant opportunity to connect with families and share important messages about road safety in a way that’s engaging and memorable. We’re proud to be supporting the next generation with fun activities, educational experiences and a few surprises along the way.”
